Give Us THIS Day!

So today, I realized what has been holding me back. It's like when you finally begin to accept things for what they really are. Having a moment like this is often good! It's like having a "come to Jesus meeting." You know saints, every now and then, they are certainly needed.

When you finally begin to accept things for the way they are or merely for the way they will be, you begin to free yourself up from a lot of pain, a lot of hurt, and just from a lot of foolishness. I was also able to sit down with a dear friend and talk about those things, being able to verbalized those things is key to your overcoming. Being able to talk about.. 1) Why do you feel that way? 2) how did you draw that conclusion 3) what would make you feel differently 4) what about this person makes you feel like this 5) why do you GIVE this person so mucho control to make you "mad".

2 hours later, I feel great and much better about life!

Cheers and live well!

Black Heritage Festival 2013

This past Saturday the Savannah Black Heritage Festival Committe hosted the community festival. This day was jam packed with tons of fun for the kids and for all families who attended. A city wide healthfair for the residents to enjoy, and a load of vendors ranging from natural products, barbers, incents, and a host of other services. The headliners for the night were Dru Hill and The Manhattans. I did not get a picture with the Manhattans it was way before my time.
